Recruitment of Executives in BMRC

NOTIFICATION FOR RECRUITMENT OF EXECUTIVES FOR O & M WING Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited, a Joint Venture of Government of India and
Government of Karnataka, is the Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) entrusted with the responsibility
of implementation of Bangalore Metro Rail Project.

BMRCL invites qualified and experienced Officers for a walk-in-interview for appointment to
Senior and Middle Management levels in the Operation & Maintenance Wing. Employees
working in Railways / Government / PSUs will be considered for appointment on deputation
basis also, provided they fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria.

Retired Engineers from Railways / Governments Departments/ PSUs, not more than 63 years
of age, are also eligible. Age can be relaxed by the Administration in case of suitably
experienced candidates.

Job Profile

Post Job description
Deputy General Manager
(Telcom & AFC)
He will be in-charge of maintenance of all telecommunication
equipments/systems and Automatic Fare Collection (AFC)
System. He will liaison with all associated agencies to discharge
his function in an effective and efficient manner.
Asst. Manager (Civil Structure &
Works)
He will be in-charge of maintenance of all Civil structures including
buildings, viaduct, tunnels and services like water supply,
drainage, sewage system, etc.
Assistant Manager (Permanent
Way)
He will assist DGM / Permanent Way and will be in-charge of
maintenance of all Permanent Way / Track installations.
Assistant Manager (IT Systems) He will have to manage the Automatic fare Collection and other
Central Server Systems in the O & M Division of BMRCL..
Executive Assistant (IT) He will assist the Asst. Manager (IT) Systems in managing the
Automatic Fare Collection and other Central Server Systems in
the O & M Division

ALLOWANCES:

Medical and Personal Accident Insurance cover & reimbursement of medical expenses as
per Company Rules. III. CONDITIONS 1.     Prescribed qualifications are minimum and mere possession of the same does not entitle
candidates to be called for interview.2.     The experience is post qualification and the minimum required. Mere possession of
minimum experience does not confer any right for interview / selection.

3.     Any canvassing by or on behalf of the candidates to bring political or other outside
influence with regard to selection/appointment shall be a disqualification.

4.     Selection will be by a Committee constituted by the Competent Authority.

5.     The candidates who are working with State Government Departments / State Public
Sector Undertakings may attend the walk-in-interview and if the candidate is selected,
BMRCL will seek consent for deputation from the respective Organization. In respect
of candidates working in Central government / Central PSUs, they may attend the walk-
in-interview , after obtaining prior permission from their respective Organisations.

IV. SELECTION

1.    Candidates appearing for walk-in-interview should down load application format
attached, fill up the same and come along with all the relevant certificates, testimonials
as prescribed for the post in originals and one set of Photostat copies for verification.
After verification, the candidate has to submit a set of Photostat copies of verified
certificates and testimonials.

2.     Any candidate found guilty of impersonation or submitting fabricated documents or
making statements, which are false or incorrect or attempts to use unfair means for the
purpose of recruitment, will be liable for rejection.

3.     The candidate shall have to indicate his/her acceptance to the offer within fifteen days
from the receipt of offer, if not, next candidate in order of merit will be offered the
appointment on similar lines. The Competent Authority may grant such extension of time
depending upon the exigencies.

4.     The candidates shall have to appear for interview at their own cost.

V. MISCELLANEOUS

1.     BMRCL shall not be liable for any damage / injury / loss to the individual, if any,
sustained during the entire recruitment process and journey.

2.     Management reserves the right to assess fitness or otherwise of the candidates
selected.

VI. TIME & DATE OF WALK-IN-INTERVIEW

Interviews for all the posts specified above will be held at BMRCL Head Office at 3rd Floor,
BMTC Complex, K.H. Road, Shanthinagar, Bangalore-560 027, every Friday and Saturday
starting from 11.02.2011. Interviews will be held from 3.00 PM to 6.00 PM from
11.2.2011 to 26.2.2011.
