Broadcast Engineering Consultants India Limited (BECIL) has been engaged as a Delivery Partner by
the Press Information Bureau, New Delhi to design, set up and operationalise the ‘Main Press Centre’
and Press operations of Main Press Centre and Venue Media Centres for the forthcoming
‘Commonwealth Games 2010’ scheduled to be held in New Delhi. For this, BECIL requires the
services of following professionals on contractual engagement basis:
1. Manager :
a) Qualifications:
i. A Post Graduate preferably in Mass Communication / Media / Management.
ii. At least 3 years of experience in managerial capacity in a Media organisation.
b) Functions :
i. Overall press management, coordination with other functional areas as may be required.
c) Number of Posts : One
d) Consolidated Fee: Rs. one lakh per month.
2. Photo Manager :
a) Qualifications:
i. A Graduate with technical qualifications in Photography from an institute / organization of
repute.
ii. The applicant should be a practicing photo-journalist.
iii. At least 3 years experience in coverage of sports events and with broad knowledge of photo
position requirements for sports events.
b) Functions :
j. Overall press management of photo press, coordination with other functional areas as may be
required.
c) Number of Posts : One
d) Consolidated Fee: Rs.75,000/ per month.
3. Assistant Manager:
a) Qualifications:
i. Post Graduate in Arts/Commerce/ Science.
ii. One year experience in managerial capacity / media management.
b) Functions :
i. To co-ordinate media management at the sports venues and other areas.
c) Number of Posts : Three
d) Consolidated Fee: Rs. 50,000/- per month.
Experience of interaction with media/international sports events/sports federations sports electronic
media channels will be preferred. The contractual engagement shall be till the end of Commonwealth
Games 2010.
