Broadcast Engineering Consultants India Limited (BECIL) has been engaged as Delivery Partner by the Press Information Bureau, New Delhi to design, set up and operationalise the ‘Main Press Centre’ and Press operations of Main Press Centre (MPC)and Venue Media Centres (VMC) for the forthcoming ‘Commonwealth Games 2010′ scheduled to be held in New Delhi. For this, BECIL requires the services of the following media and photo experts on contractual engagement basis for training the venue press operations staff as well as for handling senior venue roles during games time.

The eligibility criteria for these experts are outlined below:-
The media and photo experts should have had experience at the press or photo management position at a major international multi sport event at the level of Olympics, Commonwealth Games or Asian Games in the last six years. The media and photo experts should have also had prior experience in training venue press operations staff and be able to prepare powerpoint presentations, information sheets, background material and structure course notes for the trainings both for paid venue press operations staff as well as volunteers engaged for deployment for press operations at venues. The provision of this training material ahead of the training course will be part of the training duties. Training has to be imparted in English and the media and photo experts should have good presentation ability, clear speaking voice and exceptional communication skills. The engagement shall be from September 1, 2010 for about six weeks and upto games completion and the engaged media and photo experts shall have to submit their report before conclusion of the engagement.
